This award is granted for the full duration of the student’s pre-degree and undergraduate studies; the initial award will be made when the student commences their pre-degree study and will continue to be applied automatically when a student progresses from pre-degree to BA-level study, providing the student successfully completes each year.

Please note, that once accepted, if your fee status changes between pre-degree and undergraduate study, you will no longer be eligible for this scholarship.

You must hold an offer to study a full-time (in-person) Foundation or Pre-degree course starting in 2026/27.

You need to qualify for the Overseas category of tuition fee status.

You have achieved, or are predicted to achieve, good grades in your High School qualifications equivalent to minimum: 112 UCAS tariff points/ A Levels at BBC/ IB diploma with 32 points.

Recognised international qualifications equivalent to high school completion are also accepted. To check your eligibility, please use the UCAS tariff calculator.

You will need to provide your transcripts as proof of your qualification.

If you have not yet received your results, you will need to provide evidence of your predicted grade as part of your application.

You must provide a personal statement as part of your scholarship application which responds to the following questions (maximum 350 words per question):

• Please tell us about how your achievements and experience gained both within and outside of school demonstrate your suitability for this award.

   

• Please tell us how you intend to use the qualification you will be studying to support your future plans.

   

• What contribution do you intend to make to university life whilst studying? How do you feel being part of the UAL community will help you in achieving your career aspirations?

Once you've received an offer to study at UAL, the ‘my finance and funding’ tab on your applicant portal will be updated to include application forms for scholarships you may be eligible for.

If you submit a scholarship application, we will email you by the following dates to let you know if you have been successful:

We are unable to accept late applications and will not be able to extend the deadline for students who are yet to receive offers. Incomplete applications will not be considered.

当学生获得录取后，都可通过 Applicant Portal 的 ‘My Finance and Funding’ 进行申请。大学将在申请截止日期后发送邮件到学生邮箱，告知是否申请成功。 

申请截止日期：2026年5月20日

结果发放日期：2026年6月底

不接受逾期申请，或材料不完整的申请，也不会为尚未收到录取通知的学生延长截止日期。

You must hold an offer to study a full-time or part-time taught master's course at one of UAL's Colleges and Institutes starting in 2026/27.

• Your course must offer either a Grad Dip, M ARCH, MA, MFA, MBA, MRes or MSc qualification and be offered at one of UAL’s Colleges or Institutes. Courses run by UAL Online are not eligible for this scholarship.

   

• You are not eligible to apply if you already hold a UK postgraduate taught qualification (or one at an equivalent level) from studies undertaken in the UK.

You need to qualify for the Overseas category of tuition fee status. Read more about Postgraduate Tuition Fees.

You have achieved, or are predicted to achieve, an upper second-class honours degree or above at undergraduate level. Recognised equivalent qualifications are also accepted. To check your eligibility, read the International Academic Qualifications Equivalency (PDF 1,015 KB).

• You will need to provide your transcripts as proof of your qualification.

   

• If you have not yet received your results, you will need to provide evidence of your predicted grade as part of your application. When you receive your results, you will need to provide further evidence that you have achieved your predicted grade to be granted the award.

You will need to hold an offer for your postgraduate course before applying for this scholarship.

Once you've received an offer to study at UAL, the ‘my funding’ page on your applicant portal will be updated from December 2025 onwards to include application forms for scholarships you may be eligible for.

If you submit a scholarship application, we will email you by the following dates to let you know if you have been successful:

These deadlines align with our postgraduate application rounds, and you must apply within the same round that your offer is made. If you apply for a course starting in 2026 in Round 1, you will need to submit your scholarship application by the Round 1 deadline of Friday 27 March. We recommend you apply for your chosen course(s) in Round 1, in order to receive an earlier decision from us. If you apply for a course in Round 2, please do so before the Round 2 course application deadline on 18 March 2026 to ensure you receive your course offer before the Postgraduate International Scholarship Round 2 deadline of Friday 26 June 2026. Applications can be submitted until 11.59pm (UK time) on the dates above.

We are not able to accept late or incomplete applications from students who have not yet received a course offer. Please also note that if your scholarship application in Round 1 is unsuccessful, it will not be possible to be considered again in Round 2.

截止日期与研究生申请轮次相对应，学生必须在收到录取通知的同一轮次内提交奖学金申请。
