Future Pocket -future scaping Commissioned by Intel to manage a European marketing campaign for the launch of the Pentium 3 silicon chip, the Design Lab were faced with the challenge of communicating the technological capabilities of the new processor in a fresh, streetwise fashion. To capture the imagination of the youthful, contemporary audience that Intel were targeting, we created the “Future Pocket”, a silicon chip tattoo that could be worn anywhere on the body. At once a fashion accessory and a means of storing digital information, the “Future Pocket” resulted from our integrated approach to future-scenario concepting, graphic design and market research, ultimately forecasting the convergence of digital information and wearable technology. 英特尔公司委托Design Lab为其产品奔腾3芯片在欧洲进行市场推广,Design Lab面临的任务是把该芯片的强大科技能力与新鲜,时尚的街区文化有效的结合。为了抓住英特尔的目标客户-年轻和时尚的人群,我们创造出了名为“未来的小型移动电脑”的时尚纹身贴图,该贴图以电脑芯片的形式展现,并可以贴在身体的任何部位。作为一个时尚的时装附属品和一个传达拥有时尚电子产品的标志,“未来的小型移动电脑”是我们基于对未来产品的理解,结合视觉设计艺术的结晶,它同时预示着所有数字信息产品和可穿戴数字类产品的未来。
